Life's a Game

Just recently reconnected with this girl

Who was a really good friend of mine in Elementary

Haven't talked to her since grade 8

And she told me she's Engaged

I'm so happy for her

I did not see that coming

She always had a lot of love in her

To give, especially to animals.

Man a lot can happen in 6 years.

What have I accomplished in 6 years?

...family is no excuse.

I need to rethink my goals

And ways of reaching them.

Its like i'm playing Snakes & Ladders

Gone up a couple ladders,

But moving back home

Was kind of a step back.

Must keep rolling the dice.
